Hello, I’m Tiago.

I’ve been shooting and learning photography since 2009, and have tried almost every photography style; but I always end up preferring nature, black & white and macro stuff. This site hosts some of the photos I’ve taken in the past ten years.

I’ve always used Nikon cameras. My first one was a D60, that I bought in 2009. Later on, I’ve had the Nikon D5200, that had a more advanced sensor, more focal points and a tilting screen on the back.

My current camera is a Nikon D7200. I have it for three years now, and I’m really happy with it. It still has a crop sensor, but it’s a beast, well constructed, sturdy and heavy – feels very good in the hands. The battery life is amazing and it has many physical customizable buttons, that reduce the need to be constantly poking around in the menus. Also, there’s the ability of saving settings for custom photos modes and dual SD cards slots. I just miss the tilting screen of the D5200, for those weird low shots.

The title “jcnt” is just my last name without vowels (not very clever, I know).
